Revell 1/25 Ed Roth "Beatnik Bandit II" Show Rod Plastic Model Kit (Vintage)
Beatnik Bandit II was created by Ed in 1995 as a tribute to his famous 1960 Beatnik Bandit show car. Both cars now sit side by side in the National Automobile Museum in Reno, Nevada.
This muscular creation is powered by a chromed Chevy 350 LT-4 Corvette engine. The custom fiberglasss and paint was done by, of course, Big Daddy.
The Beatnik Bandit II has some different design cues from the original Bandit, most notably the custom bubble top, but the similarities between the two are clear.
When asked about the horsepower he put into this car, Ed said he wanted something to enter all those wild burnout contests with. Looks like he got his wish.
